Professional 3D Printing Services

3D Print Lab provides professional 3D printing services for prototypes, functional parts, and custom components. We work with individuals, businesses, schools, and institutions to turn digital designs, sketches, and physical samples into accurate, production-ready parts

You bring the idea, file, or sample. We produce the part.

We support FDM and resin printing, a wide range of materials from general-purpose plastics to engineering-grade polymers, and both one-off and repeat jobs. From initial review and material selection to printing, inspection, and delivery, we manage the full process in-house.

How the 3D Printing Process Works

Send | Model | Scan | Browse
We start with a 3D model.

You can provide this in several ways:

  • Upload a ready-made file | We accept STL, STEP, OBJ, and 3MF formats
  • Send a sketch with dimensions | We convert it into a 3D model and quote a design fee upfront
  • Provide a physical part | We scan it using professional 3D scanning equipment
  • Share a model link | If you find a design online, send us the link and we will review and quote it
  • Browse an online model library | If you find a suitable design, send us the link and we will quote the job.

Popular model libraries include: Printables, Thingiverse, MakerWorld, Thangs, MyMiniFactory, and Cults3D.

Define Application &
Approve Quote
You tell us how the part will be used.

We advise on material choice based on load, heat exposure, UV exposure, durability, and appearance.

We then provide:

  • A fixed price
  • A clear lead time

We only start production after you approve the quote.

Print & Inspect
We print your part using FDM or resin printing, depending on the application.

Our team inspects every part before release. We check overall quality, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy.

Important notes

  • We cannot guarantee the mechanical strength of 3D printed parts
  • 3D printed parts are not food safe unless treated with a certified coating, which we do not offer
Collect / Ship
Once production is complete, we prepare your parts for handover.

You can:

  • Collect your parts directly from us, or
  • Have them shipped to your location

Delivery timing depends on part size, order volume, and courier availability. We confirm collection or shipping details once printing is complete.

Send us your file, sketch, or reference link.

We will review it, advise on materials, and provide a clear quote.

Why Choose Us

Clear process

We guide you from file, sketch, or sample to the finished part. You always know what happens next.

Material-driven decisions

We select materials based on how your part will be used, not what is easiest to print.

Professional quality control

We inspect every part before release and reject prints that do not meet our internal standards.

Flexible entry points

Bring a finished model, a rough idea, a physical part, or a reference link. We handle the rest.

Engineering-grade capability

We print everything from basic prototypes to high-performance, load-bearing components.

Proven across real applications

Our work spans education, automotive, industrial, and largescale creative projects.

Materials and Printing Capabilities

We print with a wide range of materials, from general-purpose plastics to advanced engineering polymers.

We select materials based on function, environment, and performance requirements.

Common materials include:

SA-Filament-Silk-PLA-Chrome-Silver-Filament_Spool-Alone.png

PLA

A general-purpose plastic used for prototypes, display models, and low-load parts.

SA Filament PETG Speed Silver Filament, 1.75mm, 1kg_Main Image

PETG / PETG-CF

Durable plastics suited to functional parts, with carbonfibre variants offering added stiffness and a matte finish.

Creality Hyper ABS Red Filament 1.75mm 1kg_Main image

ABS

A tough, heat-resistant plastic used for mechanical parts and enclosures.

Creality HP ASA Black Filament, 1.75mm, 1kg_Side of Roll

ASA / ASA-CF

Weather- and UV-resistant plastics designed for outdoor and exposed applications.

PA6-GF30

A glass-fibre-reinforced nylon used for structural and loadbearing components.

Creality PPA-CF Black Filament, 1.75mm, 1kg_Main Image

PPA-CF

A high-performance engineering plastic used in demanding, high-strength applications.

SA Filament TPU 95A Magenta Filament 1.75mm 500g_Main Image

TPU

A flexible, rubber-like material used for impact absorption, seals, and protective parts.

We also offer resin printing for high-detail models and precision parts.

For critical applications, we guide material selection before printing.

Industries We Serve

We support clients across a focused set of industries. Each has different constraints, expectations, and standards.

We adapt our process accordingly.

Schools and Educational Institutions

We supply complete 3D printing solutions for schools and universities. This includes printers, spare parts, filaments, technical support, and purpose-built educational models.

Hobbyists

We help hobbyists turn ideas into physical parts. This includes custom components, upgrades, replacements, and one-off creative projects.

Automotive

We produce replicated and custom vehicle components. Typical work includes brackets, housings, mounts, and replacement parts.

Art and Design

We work with artists and designers to produce large-scale pieces, display models, and complex custom forms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does 3D printing cost?

Cost depends on part size, material, and print settings. We price jobs based on material usage, with additional charges for design or post-processing when required.

We focus on FDM printing and resin printing.
We print standard materials such as PLA, PETG, and ABS, as well as advanced engineering materials including ASA, PA6-GF30, PPA-CF, and polycarbonate.
No. Layered printing creates microscopic gaps that cannot be cleaned. We do not offer food-safe coatings.
Our maximum single build volume is 450 mm × 450 mm × 450 mm. We split and assemble larger parts when required.
With FDM printing, we achieve tolerances of approximately 0.1 mm, depending on design and material.
Most jobs complete within 1–2 working days once we receive and approve the model.
We require full payment upfront before printing begins.

Example Projects

We deliver professional 3D printing across education, automotive, industrial, and creative sectors, each with different technical demands.

We choose materials and processes to match.

Finished 3D Parts

3D printed parts can be finished in many ways to improve their appearance. This car part was recreated from a 3D scan and then 3D printed in both left-hand and right-hand versions so the sides match. Once finished and installed, it is almost impossible to tell it was 3D printed. Finishing shown here is for demonstration only and is not offered by 3D Print Lab.

3D Scanned Reproductions

Our high-accuracy 3D scanners can capture the finest details when it comes to reverse engineering and re-creating a part. We use a combination of high-quality scan and CAD design to achieve the best possible results.

Automotive Parts

This center console trim was needed to replace the damaged original. Seen here it is in the process of being sanded before going for hydro-dipping. Parts such as this one that are too large to be done in a single print are first strategically split into smaller sections and then joined afterwards into one part.

Large Scale Artistic Models

This life-size sculpture was one of three that were printed in a series for a well-known local artist. The originals were sculpted in clay before being 3D scanned. Due to their size, they were each split into multiple sections and then assembled. This piece of art was created using 30 rolls of filament.

Broken Part Repaired

Even broken parts can be re-created if there is enough information left in the broken piece. This frame went on to give new life to a prized motorbike.

Large Volume Productions

From a single print to a large volume production we can accommodate any order you require. These flexible TPU parts are one batch of a total of over 600 units made for a well-known automotive manufacturer. Our repeatable quality and strict quality control ensure that only high-quality parts leave our shop.
