The SparkX i7 Hotend Assembly is an integrated hotend which combines the nozzle, hotend, heatbreak, and heatsink into a single assembly. Different nozzle diameters are suitable for different applications. Please refer to the notes below for usage considerations for each nozzle size.

0.2mm Hotend:
Use Cases:
Applications that require extremely high surface quality, or models with fine surface details or intricate patterns that require high printing resolution.
Considerations:
Printing with a 0.2mm hotend will significantly increase print time. The 0.2mm hotend is not suitable for filaments containing solid additives, such as marble-filled filaments, PLA-CF, or PETG-CF, as they may easily cause hotend clogging. Flexible filaments, such as TPU, are not supported when using a 0.2mm hotend.
0.4mm Hotend:
Use Cases:
The 0.4mm hotend is a general-purpose hotend suitable for the vast majority of filaments. It provides good surface quality while offering higher printing efficiency than a 0.2mm hotend. This is the most commonly used hotend nozzle size for everyday printing.
0.6mm & 0.8mm Hotend:
Use Cases:
Both of these hotends are compatible with the vast majority of filaments. They offer significant advantages when printing flexible filaments, such as TPU, and provide much faster printing speed compared to 0.4 mm and 0.2 mm hotends. The faster printing speed trade-off is larger, more visible layer lines and a rougher surface finish compared to smaller hotend sizes.
