FilX ABS Black Filament features the four major pillars that lead to great 3D prints: thermal stability, chemical stability, impact strength, glossy, and smooth finish.
ABS (Acetonitrile Butadiene Styrene) has stronger layer bonding than most other filaments and also has high temperature resistance. The downside is that it is not the easiest filament to work with.
We recommend ABS be printed using a printer enclosure. This ensures a constant temperature in the chamber to reduce the chance of warping and also helps to manage the fumes given off when printing with ABS.
Finished products can be smoothed using acetone vapour to give a truly professional finish.
