- Helical Gear System – The Phaetus DXC K1 Series Extruder gear system is designed with spiral teeth to grip the filament without wearing it down. This reduces filament wear 60% for ultra-smooth feeding and retraction.
- Dual Gears – Along with the new tooth design, the dual-gear system provides twice the contact between two sets of helical gears and U-shaped wheels. The two contact points effectively grip and reduce any filament slippage.
- Adaptive Pressure Rocking Arm – When switching between various filament types, the Phaetus DXC K1 Series Extruder automatically adjusts pressure for each filament. The consistent pressure gives your printer reliable extrusion regardless of the filament used.
- Enhanced Airflow Cooling – The open design of this extruder improves internal heat dissipation, prevents high-temperature clogs, and reduces heat creep.
- Built-in Smart Filament Break Detection – Installed within the Phaetus DXC K1 Series Extruder is a smart sensor for any filament breaks and runouts while printing.
- Creality Printer Integration – Created for Creality by Phaetus, the DXC extruder is a seamless installation into the Creality K1, K1 Max, K1C and K1 SE 3D printers without needing new firmware.
